39 HOURS OF GUIDED HANDS ON INSTRUCTION
A live, online replica of the original Full Producer Program. Interact, ask questions, participate, and receive individual feedback in this extensive 39hr class which is centred on the entire process of being an artist. Here you'll discover your own sound and develop your instincts through a series of audio sketches and experimentation. You'll be faced with real world challenges designed to help you master the steps involved in making your own music with Ableton Live. This course will give you the experience of starting and completely finishing original tracks and remixes to add to your artist portfolio. And you'll have access to all of the classes throughout the week to review and practice at your leisure.

39 hours of focussed hands on learning in the following areas:

- FX basics such as delay, reverb, compression, EQ3/8, as well as audio treatments such as filters, LFO, ADSR, panning and much more
- Basic to Advanced automation with various midi clip, audio clip, and FX parameters
- Advanced FX such as sidechain Compression, Autopan, Frequency Shifter, Auto Filter, Oscillators
- Basics of acoustic recording
- Intro - Advanced training in frequency ranges as measured in notes, hz, khz, and the relationship to the sounds you create - essentially like the colour palette for sound
- Approaches to arrangement in a variety of electronic genres
- Playing completed songs, sketches, and/or remixes/re-edits for instructors and students for critical feedback
- Building/morphing templates for use in your own original tracks
- Ideas and strategies behind creating a fluid and streamlined workflow
- Use of FX to create fluid transitions within your composition
- "Warping" - making disparate tempos work together seamlessly - specifically with reference to the Remix, re-edit, and mashup.
- Detailed Mixing Workshop to get your levels and dynamic just right
- Opportunity to play your beats (sketches or finished) in front of your class and at an Off Centre Student Night (if/when availble)
- Intro to Mastering
* Students registered for the Full Producer Program are eligible for Ableton's Educational Discount which knocks 40% OFF software purchases
* Students are required to have their own laptop with an installed trial or full version of Ableton Live 10 and access to a high speed internet connection for the live stream
