INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS Welcome to Toronto! One of Canada’s most unique creative cities. At Off Centre we recognize your love of music and passion for the art of DJing and Producing. We believe diversity is the best policy and if you’re new to Toronto or are an international student we have some things you should check out while you’re here! |
LIVING IN TORONTO
After your classes you'll need a place you can sit back, kick your legs up and refine your craft. Downtown Toronto has a lot of great, affordable spots you can stay, and Off Centre is conveniently located in the middle of three bubbling communities: the Beach, Leslieville, and Little India. When looking for a place to stay there's something available for all budgets. The following is hardly an exhaustive list, but here are a few close by options:
The Amsterdam Guest House
The Days Inn
The Comfy Guest House & Suite
For longer term stays we highly recommend checking out Toronto's Craigslist and Kijiji

SEE THE CITY, BE THE CITY
While you're in Toronto you're most likely going to want to come out of your producer cave for a while, whether it's to find some creative inspiration or just to get out a see what this city is all about. Toronto has a lot to offer from nightlife and diverse culture to amazing people, food, and hotspots. In order to see all that our city has to offer Toronto's main transit, The TTC (Toronto Transit Commission) is a logical choice. TTC bus stops are on every corner of Toronto streets and hard to miss. They're not always on time though! So here are a couple TTC phone Apps that might help:
Transit Now For TTC
Rocket Man Transit App
If you need a proper tour of Toronto you'll need to hop on the City Sightseeing Toronto Double Decker Bus. For more information, checkout this website:
