This program includes all 4 Levels of Off Centre's DJ curriculum, the entire Full Producer Program, as well as dedicated training sessions for seamlessly combining the two disciplines. As digital technology continues to distort the lines between DJ and Producer you'll begin to bridge these two forms of expression with a balanced education between hardware and software.

- Programming opening vs. headlining sets
- Psychological preparation for live performance
- In class performances & recording with detailed feedback, critique, and advice
- Referencing past & present DJs/Producers to place mixes, performance, and the art form into a relevant context
- Crafting and fostering of your DJ identity through music & technique selections
- Recording a professional demo vs. preparing for live performances
- Intricacies of incorporating a variety of fx techniques including delay, reverb, filters, transpose stretch, digital lofi, phaser, flanger etc.
- Digital techniques such as cue point routines, loop build ups,
- Strategies for organizing large digital (or analog) music libraries
- Opportunity to DJ at an Off Centre Student night (optional)
- In-depth focus on personal musical style and much more!
The entire Full Producer Program including:
- Detailed break down of Ableton Software - specifically comparing Arrangement vs. Session View
- Beat Making using Impulse/Drum Rack
- An in depth examination of various approaches to sampling including the "rules" and politics surrounding the art form
- Composition essentials, melodic foundations, scales, chords, and use of midi instruments
- FX basics such as delay, reverb, compression, EQ3/8, as well as audio treatments such as filters, LFO, ADSR, panning and much more
- Basic to Advanced automation with various midi clip, audio clip, and FX parameters
- Advanced FX such as sidechain Compression, Autopan, Frequency Shifter, Auto Filer, Oscillators
- Basics of acoustic recording
- Frequency ranges as measured in notes, hz, khz, and the relationship to the sounds you create
- Approaches to arrangement in a variety of electronic genres
- Playing completed songs, sketches, and/or remixes/re-edits for instructors and students for critical feedback
- Building/morphing templates for use in your own original tracks
- Ideas and strategies behind creating a fluid and streamlined workflow
- Use of FX to create fluid transitions within your composition
- Warping - specifically with reference to the Remix, re-edit, and mashup
- Detailed Mixing Workshop
- Opportunity to play your beats (sketches or finished) at an Off Centre Student Night
- Intro to Mastering
- Completing an original instrumental track and remix of your chosen style from start to finish and much more!
- Incorporating your own loops, remixes, and sketches into your live DJ performance
- Intricacies of creating tracks and DJ sets by incorporating skill sets from each discipline
- Entering a remix contest
