- Software orientation - Session view vs. Arrangement view
- Beat making using Impulse/Drum Rack
- Composition basics, C major & A minor scales, chords
- Creating your own Re-edit
- Use of MIDI instruments for making melodies and bass lines
- Workflow strategies and basic library organization
- Understanding of the entire frequency spectrum and ranges as measured in notes, hz, khz, and the relationship to the sounds you create
- Intro to Returns/Sends and Audio Effects
