DJing is an art form that is fun, exciting, suitable for all ages and an excellent way to build confidence and ignite your imagination. During this special weekend workshop, you will be learning essential DJing techniques including baby scratches, drops and backspins from our guest instructor from NYC, Val-Inc. Val Jeanty is a world renowned Haitian electronic music composer percussionist, and turntablist who incorporates her African Haitian Musical traditions in to her finely tuned craft. She will be leading this weekend session teaching you the fundamental basic DJ scratch techniques. You will learn in a comfortable stress free space with hands on instruction and guidance from a world class artist. Join us Saturday February 20th, 2016 for an afternoon of musical exploration.
