This means minimal mouse scrolling and eyes on the gear as opposed to lost in the laptop. Setup has never been simpler. DJs can now show up with their laptops and the Kontrol S4, plug in one RCA cable, one USB cable, and be ready for a full four deck mixing session.
In this hands-on workshop, DJs will learn the intricacies of the Kontrol S4 hardware, as well as take an in depth look into the new version of the unique Traktor software. This course is for new and advanced Traktor users alike.

Course Content:
- Mixing using S4’s “decks” with and without the sync button
- EQing your mixes using the S4’s built in four channel mixer
- Using loops, cue points, and beatjump to prepare for a live mix
- Adding effects to the mix using the S4’s built in effects processors
- Preparing your music by setting beatgrids and load markers
- Organizing your playlists in Traktor
- Mixing techniques designed for four decks
* Students must bring their own Kontrol S4 & laptop with a copy of Traktor Pro installed
